Promotes the reduction or disappearance of feelings of anxiety, tension, anxiety and fear, normalizes sleep, has an anticonvulsant effect.

Does not affect cholino- and adrenergic receptors. It prolongs the latent period and shortens the duration and severity of nystagmus. In the brain tissue penetrates about 0.1% of the administered dose of the drug, and in young and old people to a much greater extent. Evenly distributed in the liver and kidneys. Metabolized in the liver -80-95%, metabolites are not pharmacologically active. Not cumulated.
